Allergy Friendly Halloween Candy Roudup

Make your own Food Allergy friendly Halloween Candy this year with the help of
some of your favorite allergy bloggers!  Almost all of the recipes here are gluten free,
egg free, peanut free, tree nut free, dairy free, soy free and shellfish/ seafood free.  In other
words, free of the top 8 food allergens.

I have some special treats to share!  I've asked some of my fellow allergy friendly bloggers
for their candy recipes to share with all of YOU.  (Don't you feel special?  I do!)

These ladies have some pretty awesome recipe and pictures.

Just a few things I want you to know first….

While I wish I created all these goodies myself, I didn't and therefore, I DO NOT OWN
the images.  I have been given permission to use them from the owner.  Please be kind
and visit their blogs to pin one of their gorgeous photos with the recipe.  If you can't decide
which recipe you love (and it will be hard to choose)  feel free to Pin the Collage and come
back to see the original sources.

If you see a TEAL Pumpkin in the corner of the picture, that means it's Free of the Top 8
Food Allergens as written.  That mean no substituions needed to that recipe.  Zip. Zilch.
Nada.  (Pretty cool huh?)  And just for simplicity sake on this post, Coconut will NOT be
considered one of the top 8 allergens, even though it is "technically" a tree nut.  (It's
really a Ginormous Seed that has an identity crisis with the FDA…kidding, sort of.)  For
labeling classification by the FDA, coconut is a TREENUT… But... I'm not the FDA and
most people don't think of it as true nut.  (People are still allergic to coconut, my son
was and just passed his food challenge.)

DON'T panic if you see the recipe contains PEANUTS.  It's gonna be OK.  Obviously,
if you are allergic to peanuts (like we are), you'll need to make a substitution.  :-D

Easy Substitutions for Peanut Butter:

 There, feel better?

If you don't see a teal pumpkin, it does not mean it cannot be easily converted or very
allergen friendly to begin with.  All of these treats would be fantastic ideas to meet the
restrictions of your family.

OK.

That's all.  Now go run like a kid in a candy shop and grab Pin all these recipes!
